Acquittal at Taunton Crown Court

Clare Evans of 4KBW, instructed by Karla Sims, represented our client who faced allegations of rape and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).

The Crown relied on numerous complaint witnesses who had to be considered in detail as well as the complainant’s lengthy account.

Following a 5-day trial our client was unanimously acquitted by the jury of both allegations in under 2 hours.
