Catherine Brymer confirmed as the new owner of Albin & Co

We are delighted to announce that Catherine Brymer became the new owner of Albin & Co on 24th July 2024.

Catherine stepped in to run the firm when Chris Albin very sadly passed away in August 2023

Her strength and resilience are to be admired as she successfully navigated through the Civil tender, Lexcel accreditation, multiple audits and all the other compliance and management responsibilities that come with a largely Legal Aid solicitors firm, while also managing her own caseload.

Catherine has been with Albin & Co since it was founded by Chris in 2007 and has been an intrinsic part of its evolution over the last 17 years.

She grew her career as a Criminal Lawyer within the firm and worked closely with Chris on the management in more recent years, being appointed a Director in 2022.

With Catherine at the helm clients, colleagues and stakeholders can be assured of a continuation of the care and values that have always been synonymous with Albin & Co (or Albins as the firm is referred to by many).

This is an exciting time for Albin & Co.  A new chapter filled with fresh energy and opportunity.

Catherine has already implemented some changes. She has future plans for the growth of the firm and the support of a loyal and experienced team.

News that the transfer had completed was received during Catherine’s vacation but she will be back on Monday 5th August to fully take up the reins and settle into her new role as owner of Albin & Co.
