Acquittal at Reading Crown Court
Clare Evans of 4 Kings’ Bench Walk, instructed by Karla Sims, represented our client during a 5 day trial at Reading Crown Court. Our client was charged with allegations of rape x 2, controlling and coercive behaviour and stalking.
The Prosecution relied on over 7,000 pages of text messages which required careful consideration as well as detailed instructions in respect of a relationship which lasted numerous years.
Our client was unanimously acquitted of all allegations.
